苏格兰威士忌出口添新通道 Greenock至鹿特丹开通周班航线
Peel Ports集团宣布，苏格兰Greenock港至荷兰鹿特丹的每周班轮服务正式开通，首航船舶BG Emerald已于10月30日靠泊。新航线为苏格兰威士忌出口商提供通往鹿特丹及全球航运网络的固定通道，业界认为对独立蒸馏商、装瓶商及其供应链尤具价值。数据显示，2025年苏格兰威士忌出口额15亿英镑，较2024年减少1.8%。
The first vessel on a new weekly shipping service between Greenock and Rotterdam has arrived in Scotland, in a move Peel Ports Group says could benefit the country’s independent whisky industry.
The BG Emerald called at the Port of Greenock on Friday 30 October, marking the start of BG Freight Line’s weekly service to the facility. The new line will give Scotch exporters a regular link to Rotterdam and its network of global shipping routes.
Peel Ports Group said the certainty of a weekly sailing could be particularly valuable to independent distillers, bottlers and their supply chains at a time when many are under financial and trading pressure.
Jamie Strain, Clydeport Port director at Peel Ports Group, said: “We’re proud to welcome this important BG Freight Line service back to the Port of Greenock.
“This is a significant moment for Scottish exporters, who now have the certainty of a ship here every week to take their goods to Rotterdam and on to markets around the world.
“We’re also pleased with the level of initial interest we’ve had in this service, which will be particularly beneficial for independent whisky businesses given the current challenging market conditions.”
