麦卡伦发布Time: Space系列第三款 首用自有赫雷斯桶厂雪莉桶
麦卡伦（The Macallan）推出Time: Space系列第三款单一麦芽威士忌Time: Space Sherry Cask，这是品牌首款使用其西班牙赫雷斯（Jerez de la Frontera）自有桶厂所制雪莉桶陈酿的威士忌，以纪念酒厂与赫雷斯的长期渊源。该酒最低陈年20年，酒精度44.8%，700毫升建议零售价1100英镑（约1474美元）。9月17日起在伦敦哈罗德百货的麦卡伦精品店独家发售，10月将扩展至英国专业零售渠道。
The third entry in the Time: Space series is The Macallan’s first expression matured in Sherry casks from its own cooperages in Jerez de la Frontera.
Time: Space Sherry Cask is available exclusively at The Macallan Boutique in London’s Harrods department store from today (17 September). A wider rollout across UK speciality retail will follow in October.
The new release has been aged for a minimum of 20 years, is bottled at 44.8% ABV and is offered at an RRP of £1,100 (US$1,474) for 700ml.
It is described as ‘rich yet refined’ with aromas of figs, medjool dates, caramelised nuts, chocolate truffles, and warming spices leading into a palate of bramble jam, treacle toffee, espresso, chocolate-coated cherries and gentle oak.
The expression is presented in a circular decanter and a specially created presentation case said to be inspired by the Palomino grapes used to make many Sherries and the golden sun of Andalusia.
