加拿大曼尼托巴省清空美国酒类库存 关税战再度升级
加拿大曼尼托巴省已从其64家酒类专卖店下架全部美国酒类产品，并停止为企业客户供货。此举是为回应美国上周对加拿大烈酒加征的50%出口关税；该关税8月19日一度暂停三天，但因谈判破裂于8月22日生效。曼尼托巴省政府机构发言人表示，顾客对购买本地及加拿大产品表现出明确偏好。此前该省已于2025年3月为反制美方25%关税移除过美国酒类。
The Canadian province of Manitoba has cleared the rest of its US alcohol stock as trade tensions from tariffs boil over. Manitoba has removed all US products from its 64 Liquor Mart stores.
The move was made in response to a 50% export tariff imposed by the US on Canadian spirits last week. The tariff was initially paused for three days on 19 August, but talks broke down at the last minute, with the tariff coming into effect on 22 August.
A Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (MBLL) spokesperson said: "This week, due to current US trade tensions, we removed US liquor from our publicly-owned Liquor Mart shelves and removed it from the ordering system for commercial customers."
Manitoba initially removed American alcohol from its Liquor & Lotteries shelves in March 2025 in retaliation for the 25% tariff the US placed on Canadian goods.
